2021 Fall Titles Sneak Peek

Read on for a sneak peek of our upcoming titles. Our whole Fall list will soon be available!

Between Two Waters by Jean-Louis Courteau
These journeys to the bottom of the lake have almost nothing to do with diving. The author draws in words encounters with sturgeons and grey trout, archeological finds and others more post-industrial, reveries between two waters and a search within oneself. Dive in to discover an outstanding writing, a singular story and surprising literary submarine immersions. Stories that explore intriguing themes such as our relationship with the territory and nature, and archaeological tourism.

Bubble Wrap by Simon Boulerice & Ève Patenaude
A deeply moving graphic novel which shows that one can draw great strength from what at first seemed to be a weakness. Passionate about martial arts, Hortense promises herself that between her and the disease, she will have the upper hand. The illustrations, inspired by the world of manga and colored with alcohol markers, exploit the principle of « bleeding » and reveal something unsuspected on the back of each page.

Praise For À TRAIN PERDU by Jocelyne Saucier in English

« With a wry humour and a detached, almost journalistic approach to the events, Saucier investigates the nature of love, and loss, of family and community, what we owe to one another, and what we are owed. And Miles To Go Before I Sleep is a haunting reminder of what makes us human, and that it is the questioning, as much as the answers, that keeps us alive. »
—Robert J. Wiersema, The Toronto Star
